A Home for Arts
The Common Space South Main Building, home to RADIANCE STUDIO, was formerly the first elementary school of Bowling Green, built in 1890. In 2006 the building became the South Main Common Space for Artists, the first community building for performing and fine arts.
World Dance and Yoga Studio
Laura Shakti founded Radiance Studio to serve as the premier Studio for Adult World Dance, Yoga and Healing Arts in Bowling Green, Ohio. Radiance Studio restored the original wooden floors from the 1880's, and beautifully appointed the studio in Moroccan design. Local artist Susan Woodard designed and hand stenciled Moroccan tile in the studio, and Interior Designer, Cara Hinkle brought to life Laura's Moroccan dreams. Portraits of Laura Shakti's travels in Moorish Spain and Morocco adorn the walls, as do gifts from other artists. It is a beautiful space that reflects the Classic beauty of Indian Yoga, and the mystery and magic of Middle Eastern Dance.
Sacred Space
Parking is available in front of the office entryway, as well as in the parking lot behind the building, accessed by Kramer Ln. Please keep in mind that Kramer Ln. is only accessible from Main St. as it is a one-way street. Enter the lot by making a left at the basketball court and playing field with the chain link fence. There is also parking in the residential neighborhood and on the cross street of Palmer.

our studio rules, and remove shoes at the door, turn off all electronic devises, and do not bring
food or gum into the studio. Street shoes are prohibited in the studio, as they mar the beautifully restored wooden floors. Please remove shoes at the studio door for dance and yoga classes.

RADIANCE is located 11 miles south of Perrysburg on State Route 25( Dixie Highway), in the heart of historic downtown Bowling Green. The Common Space Building that is home to Radiance is situated a half mile (.5 mi) south of the Wooster/Main St. intersection, and is on the East side of S. Main Street.
